Gemma Kenter

I have been connected to the Netherlands Cancer Institute as head of the gynecologic oncology department since 2009. The department is part of the Center for Gynecologic Oncology Amsterdam (CGOA; Centrum Gynaecologische Oncologie Amsterdam), a collaboration between the NKI, Amsterdam UMC, and VUmc. 

This collaboration between a specialized cancer hospital and two academic centers in Amsterdam allows us to combine our strengths in order to deliver our patients the best care possible. The collaboration also helps us in terms of our research results and progress.
