Hans van Thienen
I started working as an internist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2012. My role is centered around melanoma and kidney cancer. I aim to be able to offer all my patients a personalized treatment that best fits their own personal situation; not just in medical terms, but also in communication. I believe that it is vital to create a strong bond of trust between doctors and patients.
The current advancements in cancer treatment are developed in rapid succession, and I see it as my challenge to ensure that all our patients receive the best possible treatment, in order to improve my patients' overall quality of life.
