Muriel Adank
I have been an enthusiastic member of the genetic testing team at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since May 2017.
I can use my knowledge and experience in hereditary breast cancer in our multidisciplinary breast cancer treatment team. The work environment at the Netherlands Cancer Institute inspires us to keep the lines short in collaborations between clinicians and researchers, with personalized care as our shared goal.
In my research, I aim to provide women information about their risk of developing breast cancer more accurately and to provide advice on their screening options. Thanks to the rapid developments in genetic research and DNA tests, we can further personalize these recommendations and further adapt them to the (family) situation.
