Maria Kuiper

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 1998. Over the past couple of years, I have been a part of a team involved in chemotherapy treatment for patients with stomach and colorectal carcinomas, including patients participating in trials. I also track, guide, and support these patients during their treatment. I am also involved in the organization of every patient's treatment plan.

The connection between research and patient care at the Netherlands Cancer Institute is clearly visible. This, as well as the variation in my tasks and the patient-centered, committed work we can do, ensure that I can contribute to high-quality and effective treatment options.
