Corrie Marijnen
After completing my specialization in radiation oncology at the LUMC, I obtained my PhD through research into treatment forĀ rectal cancer. Afterward, I spent four great years working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a radiation oncologist. It has been great to be able to return to this hospital now as head of the medical cluster radiotherapy after having worked as a department head at the LUMC for ten years.
The collaborations within and outside of our departments, the enthusiasm of our employees, and all of the research studies we set up make the Netherlands Cancer Institute a truly special hospital. We all work hard to provide our patients with the best care possible, which is why I am still happy to work here, every single day.
