Francine Voncken
I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2007. I specialize in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancer patients. Together with my colleagues in a multidisciplinary team, I aim to offer the best possible, patient-centric medical care, every single day.
Next to my work at the clinic, I research esophageal cancer. In 2011 I went to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada, for this study, which I now continue at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. My final goal is to better adapt the esophageal cancer treatment to the patients' individual needs.
