Renske de Jong

I have been working as a radiation oncologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since August 2017. I specialize in the treatment of patients with lung cancer or gynecological cancer. 

At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, we house all our knowledge and expertise in one location. All disciplines involved in patient care (pulmonologists, medical oncologists, surgeons, and gynecologists) all need to collaborate to be able to provide the best care possible. The best part of my work is how we can make sure that we improve our treatments by implementing the latest radiotherapy techniques that we develop, allowing them to experience fewer side effects.
