Active Surveillance for kidney cancer

Active surveillance can be a treatment option for people with small kidney tumors with a limited growth speed.

An active surveillance plan means that you will have to come in for regular imaging to monitor the tumor growth and to determine when we should switch to more active treatment. You and your urologist will discuss how often you will have to come in for examinations.
