Personalized targeted therapy
Cancer drugs are sometimes administered orally, in the form of a pill. Every person will absorb different amounts of the drug into their bloodstream, where it can reach the tumor. That's why we investigate whether we can further personalize the treatment by adjusting the drug dose. We evaluate the level of drug in the blood during blood draw. Based on these levels, we adjust the personal dose to reach the maximum effects on the tumor. This allows for a personalized, targeted therapy form.
