Geriatric oncology

Cancer and its treatment can be rough, especially for patients over 70 years old. People who are over 70 differ greatly from one another. Many people are in great shape and don't face any impairments, others struggle with multiple conditions and face difficulties in their everyday lives. That's why it is vital to provide these patients with personalized treatment advice.

Next to the usual CT scans and blood tests, we also need to assess their personal situation. Our team intends to provide a suitable treatment as well as a way to maintain the patient's self-sufficiency to the best of our ability and to prevent damage during treatment. Treatment that is too heavy for the patient to finish is not good, while a light treatment that is not optimal is not preferred either.
