General Clinical Lab
Our General Clinical Lab offers blood draws and blood transfusions for all patients at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. We also deal with hematological and clinical-chemical evaluations, as well as genetic testing. We can count your blood cells, check your coagulation or blood sugar levels, or analyze your urine or DNA material. We always work with great care and speed. The lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will receive your results as soon as possible.

Special focus
We are always searching for new possibilities to improve the speed of our diagnoses and gain new insights into cancer. We are involved in scientific research into the development and implementation of new tumor markers and analytical techniques.
Referring parties can request a circulating tumor DNA test (ctDNA). A ctDNA test can show pieces of DNA from the tumor in the plasma.
