Trials

Other than its clinical work, the Netherlands Cancer Institute is a distinguished cancer research institute. 700 enthusiastic researchers work hard every day to gain a better understanding of the development and treatment of cancer.

Many of our trials concern lung cancer. If you are receiving treatment at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, you may be invited to enroll in a clinical trial. Better insight into the characteristics of tumors can help us improve our treatment. All knowledge we gather from genetic tests and other lab analyses of individual tumors can further support our understanding of the condition. We may offer you treatment as part of a clinical trial testing the effects of promising drugs or treatments.

Please discuss your participation with your physician, so you know what the possibilities are for you, and what potential consequences you can expect.
