Phase 1
The Phase 1 (former Clinical Pharmacology) department treats patients using new cancer drugs. We deliver this treatment in collaboration with the pharmacy, which concerns itself with clinical drug research. These new cancer drugs are often at an early stage of their development and are administered and tested as part of a trial.
Development of methods
The Phase 1 department develops new methods to combine our current drugs and newly developed medicine into targeted therapy against cancer. These methods are based on genetic tests ran on the tumor tissue of participating patients.
