Mirjam Boelens
I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2012. I started as a researcher into breast cancer and then started working as a clinical molecular biologist in Pathology (KMBP) in training at Molecular Diagnostics in 2018. At this lab we determine genetic characteristics of tumors thatare necessary for the right diagnostics and treatment. We look for changes in DNA that make targeted therapy, personalized medicine, more possible - one of the key points of the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I am motivated and glad to be able to do my part in our work towards this goal.
