Sandrine de Winter
I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a dermatologist since 2018. In 2004 I started working at the St Jansdal hospital in Harderwijk as a general dermatologist which I did for 12 years. I held a monthly consultation hour together with the gynecologist there.
Patients with skin cancer and patients experiencing side effects from their treatment for other cancer types can come to see me. Together with a gynecologist and urologist, we treat patients with problems in the genital area.
Skin conditions can be a cause for concern for our patients, especially when it concerns (suspected) skin cancer or atypical moles. Offering advice on how to deal with this is very important. I want to see the patient inside f the skin - the human with the condition asking for my help.
