Carolien Smorenburg
After my education at the Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc and the Daniel den Hoed clinic, I spent eight years working as a medical oncologist at a large general hospital. I started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2013. I primarily dedicate myself to the treatment of breast cancer, geriatric oncology, and gynecological tumors.
The Netherlands Cancer Institute is dedicated to the treatment and guidance of cancer patients. The institute places tremendous importance on scientific research in order to further improve the outcomes. I want to do my best to offer my patients the best possible treatment, and I see immense value in personalized treatment and precision medicine, combined with time and genuine attention for every person.
