Christian Blank
I started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2007, after having worked as a physician and researcher in Germany and the US. I specialize in treatment for patients with metastatic melanoma or renal cell carcinoma. I believe that our own immune system is our best weapon against cancer, and I try to promote development in this area through my research, in which we look for ways to teach the immune system to recognize and kill cancer cells.
Through immunotherapy and targeted therapy, we can help or even cure our patients. I aim to make these promising therapies available for as many patients as possible.
