Emile Voest

I have been working as a medical oncologist, researcher, and also as director (until January 1st, 2021) at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2014. Combining all my different roles can be a challenge, but it also comes with an advantage: I can really help improve the speed at which new research findings are implemented into the clinic, in order for our patients to benefit from improved treatments. 

It is wonderful to be able to work with such passionate and driven people, especially now we feel we are making good progress in our fight against cancer.
