Eugène Damen

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 1990. I am responsible for the calculation of the correct dose in patient treatment with radiotherapy. I also work on the development of new techniques to use in patient treatment together with physicians, laboratory technicians, and researchers, especially in the treatment of lung tumors. 

Working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute is challenging because we constantly aim to improve our treatment. I am proud of the way we manage to bring our new treatment methods quickly into the clinic, which makes us front runners in terms of radiotherapy.
