I have been working as a medical social worker at the Survivorship Center since 2020. Psychosocial work encompasses all types of treatment that support patients and their loved ones during the illness as well as afterward. I will guide you in your search for possibilities to deal with problems and to tap into and expand your strength. Your strength may be the way you handle things, or the people around you and the things you like to do. Making room for emotions and finding a new balance, which can help you better handle your treatment and the time that comes after. My focus points in our team are culturally sensitive care and sexuality.
I feel privileged to work at the NKI. The work culture here us great and it is a warm place in which the patient and their loved ones are central to the treatment.
