Dieta Brandsma

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a neurologist specialized in oncology since 2007. Together with my team of specialists - neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and others - we try and find the best treatment options for all our patients.

We then discuss this option with our patients and consider how to best proceed with the treatment in order to optimize survivorship and quality of life after treatment. Current research in neuro-oncology focuses on drugs that better reach the brain in order to halt tumor growth.
