As a nuclear medicine specialist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, I am involved in the diagnostics of various tumors using radioactive substances. My focus is on melanoma and head and neck oncology. I specialize in detecting metastases and evaluating treatment using PET scan and sentinel node imaging prior to surgery.

At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, we have a lot of expertise and knowledge in terms of the many tumor types. All my colleagues are highly motivated to deliver the best patient care and make scientific discoveries. As imaging specialists, we aim to deliver great patient care while contributing to scientific research. One way is by using imaging to analyze tumor characteristics to find ways in which we can optimize the individual course of treatment for our patients.
