Eva Swart

I started working as a nurse practitioner specializing in AYA care at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in October 2020. I am the only clinical nurse specialist in the Netherlands who has been appointed especially for AYA care. AYA stands for Adolescents and young Adults—people between the ages of 18 and 39 who are facing cancer. During and after treatment, patients can set up an appointment with our AYA Care Team at the clinic for all sorts of questions and concerns about, for example, fertility, studying, relationships, and self-image.
