I started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as an oncology nurse in 2007. In 2011, I started working as a nurse practitioner with a focus on dermato-oncology at our skin and melanoma center. I specialize in care for skin cancer patients (basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma) and mole screening. I also see patients with skin problems that are a result of chemotherapy or other forms of cancer treatment. One of my points of interest is (daylight) photodynamic therapy.
I enjoy working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, mainly because it is such a small hospital. Our hospital is calm and comfortable and focuses on the patients.
