Wendy Wolters

I have previously worked at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and the UMC Utrecht. I have extensive experience in several types of systemic therapy for cancer and have been working as a nurse practitioner in gastrointestinal oncology for the past years. I started as a nurse practitioner in the field of neuroendocrine tumors (NET) in 2019 and now work at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as well as the UMC Utrecht, two hospitals that make up an “ENETS Centre of Excellence”.

As a nurse practitioner, it is my job to integrate medical and nursing care in order to properly support patients and their loved ones through their rare conditions and their treatment, together with the multidisciplinary NET team. It is my goal to bring as much comfort as possible to patients and their loved ones, so they know to come to me with questions and concerns.
