Yvonne Hilhorst

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a nurse practitioner in training since July 2018. I specialize in care for esophageal and stomach cancer patients. I am part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of gastrointestinal physicians, oncologists, radiation therapists, surgeons, nutritionists, and clinical nurse specialists. This collaboration and the ease of contact between team members make my work at the Netherlands Cancer Institute more enjoyable. As a nurse practitioner, I am the contact person for my patients and try to support my patients and their loved ones before, during, and after their treatment.
