I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a hospital pharmacist since 2015. I specialize in oral oncolytics (anti-cancer drugs in tablet form). These are provided by our oncology pharmacy or delivered at home.

I also prepare intravenous chemotherapy. These drugs are made per dose, which will be calculated to the individual patient's needs. At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, we also conduct a lot of research that requires drugs. This research is being done to improve our care. 

The Netherlands Cancer Institute is a unique hospital where grand things happen, and where the patient is always central to the treatment.
