Jasper Smit

My career as a pulmonologist started in 2018 and I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since August 2021. What is nice about the NKI is that patient care and scientific research are strongly intertwined. Because of this, new treatment is quickly available and can be used instantly. 

Apart from my job as a pulmonologist, I also conduct research with the primary goal of being able to predict even better for which patients immunotherapy is profitable.
