Willemijn Theelen

I have been working as a lung specialist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2013. Besides my work in patient care, I am involved in research into targeted therapy and immunotherapy for lung cancer. 

I was drawn to the Netherlands Cancer Institute because of the way new drugs and developments in cancer treatment quickly find their way into the clinic here. There are many new developments in the field of lung cancer treatment, and it is extremely valuable to be able to contribute to this progress, in scientific research, and at the clinic.
