I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since 2010. I mainly work in abdominal and breast radiology. Radiology is a fascinating field because we can examine our patients internally without having to resort to surgery.

Coming to the Netherlands Cancer Institute was a conscious decision for me because this hospital keeps the patients central to the treatment. I don't only find satisfaction in my radiological work, but also greatly value comforting anxious or nervous patients by giving a clear and thorough explanation of the procedure.
