Lisa Klompenhouwer
I have been working as a radiologist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute since October 2015. Here I took on a specialization in interventional radiology. As an interventional radiologist, I do minimally invasive image guided procedures - procedures with as little surgery as possible. We make tiny holes in the skin using an ultrasound, scans, or CT. We use this procedure to treat liver metastases or to take tissue biopsies for diagnosis. I primarily focus on abdominal radiology and breast radiology.
