Marie-Jeanne Vrancken Peeters
I have been working as a surgeon since 2002. I received my training in Leiden and then specialized in gastrointestinal surgery at the AMC, after which I started working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, in 2005. I further specialized in breast cancer and stomach and esophageal cancer surgery. I deliberately chose the Netherlands Cancer Institute as the next step in my career: the hospital offers a perfect mix of personalized clinical work and scientific research. Multidisciplinary work is second nature at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. We see our patients as individuals and offer personalized treatments proposed by our multidisciplinary team.
