Maaike van de Kamp
I did my fellowship at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2016 and am a certified robotic surgeon. After my fellowship, I worked at the Erasmus MC. In August 2019 I returned to the Netherlands Cancer Institute as a urologist involved in the treatment of bladder, prostate, and kidney cancer.
At the Netherlands Cancer Institute, we work together in a specialized bladder cancer team to come up with a personalized treatment plan for each patient. Through our excellent regional collaborations, we can offer care in the right places. We have innovative and (inter)national running trials, sometimes in collaboration with oncology, and we use the latest techniques in surgery, such as the DaVinci Robot, navigation, and fluorescence-guided surgery techniques. This helps us to keep improving the treatment of bladder cancer.
