NET Center

The NET center is a department especially for patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET). These are tumors that can develop anywhere in the body, although they are usually found in the small intestine, lungs, pancreas, or stomach. Here you will be treated and assisted by NET-specialists. These specialists (medical oncologists, gastroenterologists, clinical nurse specialists) specialize in oncology for NET. Patients throughout the entire country will be referred to the NET Center at the Netherlands Cancer Institute.

Your treatment team

At the NET center, all patients are discussed during a team meeting involving specialists. Your NET specialists closely collaborate with the radiologist, nuclear health physician, surgeon, pulmonologist, radiation oncologist, and pathologist. Your team will come up with a personalized treatment team for you.
